Club Captain’s Report
With only 2 rounds remaining in Sydney Badge we now have 4 teams in first position.
Our Men’s 2 Team is now in top spot joining our Men’s 1 Men’s 6 and Ladies 2 Teams.
Six other teams are also in the top 4 spots.
Round 12 Results
Women’s Division 1
Manly 1 defeated Tennis World 5-3 at home.
Bryanne/Nicola 3 sets Lisa/Caroline 2 sets. This was a good win against a top 4 team.
Now in 8th position.
Women’s Division 3
Manly 2 lost 5-3 away at Killara
Losing 2 tiebreakers gave the ladies their first loss of the season but are still 10.5 points in front. Krista/Sarah won 3 sets.
Manly 3 Won 4-3 at home v Chatswood 2
Shelley/Larissa 2 sets with one unfinished Christine/ Penny 2 sets
Another win keeps this team in 4th position
Women’s Division 4
Manly 4 def Mosman 6-2 at Keirle Park
Another good win keeps the ladies in 3rd position
Kate/Noriko 4 sets Erryn/Rosi 2 sets
Thursday Ladies
Manly won 7-1 at home v Hunters Hill
Erryn/Melinda 4 sets Lisa/Barbara 3 sets

Men’s Division 1
Manly 1 def Neutral Bay 1 5-3 at home
Andrew/Ben 3 sets Sean/Oliver 2 sets
The team remains in top position. Blake is away playing tournaments and hopefully will return for the finals series.
Men’s Division 2
Manly 2 def Tennis Valley 5-3 away
Warren/Bosko 3 sets Wilko/Netto 2 sets
This team is now in first position on a crowded ladder.
The return of Bosko has inspired the team to new heights!
Men’s Division 3
Manly 3 def Kooroora 6-2 at home
Milton/Dan 3 sets Sean/Vincent 3 sets
In 4th position
Men’s Division 5
Manly 4 def Hunters Hill 6-2
Fernando filled in and won 4 sets with Geoff on the grass.
Jarryd/Sam won 2 sets to complete an easy win.
The team is still in 6th position
Men’s Division 8
Manly 5 lost 6-2 away at Hunters Hill
Hugo/Alec 2 sets. Denis provided transport and Chris enjoyed the after tennis food and drinks. Still in 3rd position.
Men’s Division 10
Manly 6 def Sydney University 6-2 away
James/Gabriel 4 sets Mike/Brodie 2 sets.
This big win keeps the team well on top of the ladder.
Men’s Division 11
Won 8-0 on forfeit v Tennis World
The team is now in 2nd position
Our Men’s 1 and 2 Teams both play at home this Saturday in late matches so there will be plenty of good tennis to watch.
